Audiology is a branch of science that studies hearing, balance, and related disorders. An audiologist is a professional who diagnoses and treats hearing and balance problems. Audiologists are trained to diagnose, manage and treat hearing or balance problems for individuals from birth through adulthood.

The Audiology team dispense hearing aids and hearing implants, counsel individuals and families through a new diagnosis of hearing loss, teach communication coping and compensation skills, provide advice on hearing protection to prevent hearing loss, evaluate and treat balance disorders and assess and support patients with tinnitus.
